"With dedication, compassion, and partnership, we will continue serving humanity with integrity and hope for a better tomorrow."
For decades, the people of Afghanistan have endured immense hardship, poverty, and displacement. These challenges have deeply affected families — particularly women and children — who continue to face barriers to education, healthcare, civic participation, and sustainable livelihoods.
At ARSDO, we are committed to changing this reality. Our mission is to educate and strengthen communities for a better and decent living, and to be resilient enough to fight poverty. We aim to create an enabling environment where individuals can realize their rights, build resilience, and become active contributors to their communities.
Through our humanitarian and development initiatives, we strive to empower people to overcome adversity and participate meaningfully in building a peaceful, prosperous Afghanistan.
"A strategic vision guides our work to create durable impact for the most vulnerable communities in Afghanistan."
ARSDO's strategic plan is currently under revision to reflect the evolving needs of the communities we serve and the rapidly changing humanitarian landscape in Afghanistan.
Our forthcoming strategic framework will outline key priorities for the next five years — expanding health services, scaling education programmes, deepening women's empowerment initiatives, and strengthening organisational capacity.
We remain committed to evidence-based planning, community-led design, and transparent accountability to our donors and partners.
"Since our founding, ARSDO has remained steadfast in serving the most vulnerable communities across all of Afghanistan."
