Delivering essential healthcare, nutrition support, and psychosocial care to women, children, and underserved communities across Afghanistan.
ARSDO works to improve the health, wellbeing, and nutritional status of vulnerable communities across Afghanistan, particularly women, children, internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and underserved populations. We deliver integrated health and nutrition interventions that strengthen access to essential healthcare services while promoting preventive health practices, health education, awareness and community resilience.
Our health programs include primary healthcare services, maternal and child health support, vaccination campaigns, mobile medical services, community health worker capacity building, disease prevention initiatives, nutrition screening, and referral services. We also provide mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), recognizing the profound impact of conflict, displacement, and poverty on individual and community wellbeing.
Through partnerships with government institutions, UN agencies, and local communities, ARSDO contributes to strengthening health systems and ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare services for those most in need.
