Dr. Amrullah Akhundzada is a medical doctor and public health professional with over 13 years of experience in health system strengthening, disease control, and humanitarian health programs in Afghanistan. He currently serves as Technical Health Manager for ARSDO�s BPHS-HER2 Project in Nuristan Province, providing technical leadership, quality assurance, and capacity-building support to health facilities and teams.
He has worked with several national and international organizations, including ARSDO, MSH/UHI, UNICEF (CTG), SCA, PU-AMI, HN-TPO, and the NTP/Provincial Public Health Department. His expertise includes primary healthcare, tuberculosis control, maternal and child health, nutrition, immunization, health information systems, and quality improvement.
He holds an MD degree from Paktia Medical University and has completed multiple trainings in public health, leadership, M&E, TB management, HMIS, IPC, and nutrition. He is fluent in Pashto, Dari, English, and Urdu.
