Medical Equipment supplied to Nuristan Health Facilities

To strengthen healthcare service delivery and improve health outcomes, ARSDO procured and distributed essential medical equipment to all 37 health facilities across Nuristan Province.

The equipment was identified through a rapid mapping and assessment conducted in coordination with UNICEF and the Provincial Public Health Directorate Nuristan.
The activity commenced in May 2026 and was completed during the first week of June 2026. The newly provided equipment is expected to enhance the capacity of health facilities to deliver quality healthcare services, improve patient care, and support frontline health workers in meeting the needs of communities throughout the province.
