Recent heavy rains and flash floods have caused loss of life, injuries, and widespread damage across Nuristan Province, leaving many families in urgent need of assistance.

As the implementer of the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) in Nuristan, ARSDO has mobilized its health teams to provide emergency medical care and treatment for injured people and continues to support affected communities.
We urgently call upon the United Nations agencies, humanitarian organizations, donors, and partners to provide immediate assistance, including emergency healthcare, medical supplies, shelter, food, clean water, and other life-saving support.
Together, we can save lives, reduce suffering, and help the people of Nuristan recover.
